We believe that juniors are the future of our club, and we’re committed to providing a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for every young player who steps onto our courts.

If your son or daughter is interested in giving squash a try, we’d love to hear from you. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch — new juniors are always welcome.

Junior Squash Coaching

KP Squash Club runs a successful junior coaching programme with sessions operating during terms 2 & 3. After a fantastic season last year—with great turnout, noticeable improvement across all age groups, and plenty of positive feedback—we’re excited to continue building on that momentum.

Children are grouped by age, and our experienced coaches tailor each session to suit individual skill levels, ensuring every junior feels supported, challenged, and encouraged. Whether your child is brand new to squash or already developing their game, our junior programme is a great way to learn skills, stay active, and have fun.

Junior Squash Tournaments

The Central District runs the tournaments listed on the left. These events span the entire Central Squash region and are professionally organised to ensure a great experience for all participants. Central Squash works hard to provide a welcoming environment with a diverse range of players and skill levels, as well as opportunities for juniors to represent the district at larger New Zealand events if they wish to pursue competitive play.
